What This Means

Sensor connector not seated properly at Main PCB CN30 pins 1 and 3; Thermistor wire harness damaged or cut; Thermistor defective (open circuit or shorted); Main PCB defective

What actually causes this:

Temperature sensor connector came loose or sensor wire is broken

Check if freezer is getting cold — if it's not cooling, this error is likely present

How to Fix

  1. 1

    1. Unplug refrigerator and inspect CN30 connector pins 1 and 3

  2. 2

    2. Measure voltage between CN30 pins 1 and 3 — should be 4.5V to 1.0V range

    3. Reconnect any loose connectors

  4. 4

    4. Power on and check if error clears

  5. 5

    5. If voltage out of range, disconnect sensor and measure resistance

  6. 6

    6. If resistance abnormal, replace freezer thermistor
