Connector not seated at Main PCB CN90 pins 3 and 8; Wire harness damaged; Ice maker sensor thermistor defective; Main PCB defective

What actually causes this:

Ice maker sensor wire came loose or sensor element failed

First Thing to Check

Check if ice maker is producing ice — no ice production may indicate sensor failure

How to Fix

    1. Unplug refrigerator

  2. 2

    2. Locate CN90 connector on Main PCB

  3. 3

    3. Inspect pins 3 and 8 for loose connections

  4. 4

    4. Measure voltage — expected 4.5V to 1.0V

  5. 5

    5. Reseat connector securely and test

  6. 6

    6. If voltage out of range, replace ice maker sensor
