What This Means

Sensor connector not seated at Main PCB CN30 pins 1 and 5; Thermistor wire harness damaged or cut; Thermistor defective; Main PCB defective

What actually causes this:

The main fridge temperature sensor wire came loose or failed

First Thing to Check

Feel if the main fridge section is cold — if not, the sensor may have failed

How to Fix

  1. 1

    1. Unplug and inspect CN30 connector pins 1 and 5

  2. 2

    2. Measure voltage between CN30 pins 1 and 5 — should be 4.5V to 1.0V

  3. 3

    3. Reconnect any loose connectors and power on

  4. 4

    4. Verify error clears after sensor reseating

  5. 5

    5. If voltage still out of range, replace fridge thermistor
