What This Means
Pantry damper heater shorted (0Ω reading); Pantry damper heater wire open circuit (∞Ω reading); Bimetal protector defective; Harness damaged or disconnected
What actually causes this:
The damper heater element failed or its wire connection came loose
First Thing to Check
Check if the Pantry damper opens and closes normally when temperature settings change

How to Fix

1. Unplug refrigerator and wait 5 minutes

2. Disconnect MAIN PCB CN40 wire from PCB
- 3
3. Measure resistance between CN40 pins 25 and 27 (power must be OFF)
- 4
4. Should read 135Ω ± 7%
- 5
5. If 0Ω: shorted; if ∞Ω: open circuit
