What This Means
External air thermistor (502AT) disconnected; Wire harness damaged between sensor and Main PBA; Thermistor defective (open circuit or short); Main PBA defect
What actually causes this:
The ambient temperature sensor wire came loose or sensor failed

Verify the refrigerator operates normally despite the sensor error — some functions may be disabled

How to Fix

1. Measure voltage at MAIN PCB CN60 between pins 3 and 5 — must be 4.5V to 1.0V

2. Locate external air sensor connector on Main PBA

3. Check connector security and wire harness for damage
- 4
4. Disconnect CN60 and measure sensor resistance directly (power off)
- 5
5. Compare against reference thermistor values
