What This Means

Bad connector at CN60 pins 3 and 5; Open or short in ambient sensor wiring; Failed thermistor; PCB solder defect at R228

What actually causes this:

The sensor reading room temperature has failed, which can cause the fridge to run fans at wrong speeds or not respond to ambient heat properly.

First Thing to Check

Check the connector at CN60 and reseat it firmly.

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Measure voltage at MAIN PCB CN60-'3' <-> '5': should be between 1.0V and 4.5V

  2. 2

    Disconnect CN60 and measure resistance at CN60-'5' ↔ '3'

  3. 3

    Check soldering at R228 (IC01 MICOM #12)
