Error Code COMP-OVER-VOLTAGE
Incoming power voltage is too high for the compressor to run safely
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: LED blinks per inverter protection table
What This Means
AC input voltage above AC 155V (110-127V models) or AC 310V (220-240V models); Short resistor R511, R512, or R513 (DC link resistors) on PCB
What actually causes this:
A power surge caused the voltage to spike above the safe limit, triggering the compressor protection system.
First Thing to Check
Check if other appliances in the home experienced power issues at the same time.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Measure AC voltage at the power outlet
- 2
For 110-127V models: must be below AC 155V
- 3
For 220-240V models: must be below AC 310V
- 4
Check PCB bottom side soldering at R511, R512, R513
