Error Code DAMPER-HEATER-ERROR
The drawer area damper anti-condensation heater has failed
Minor
Usually easy to fix - may resolve on its own
Also displayed as: Indicated via self-diagnosis on CN40
What This Means
Open damper heater element; Short circuit in heater wiring; Bad connector at CN40 pins 25 and 27
What actually causes this:

First Thing to Check
Measure resistance at CN40 pins 25 and 27 after unplugging the refrigerator.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect MAIN PCB CN40 connector
- 2
Measure resistance between CN40-'25' ↔ '27': should be ~135Ω ± 7%
- 3
0Ω = heater short; ∞Ω = heater or wire open
- 4
Check MICOM #91 input voltage: 3.5V–4.8V when heater off; 0V when heater operating
