Error Code 21C
Freezer evaporator fan has stopped or lost its feedback signal
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: 21C
What This Means
Feedback signal line contact error; Fan motor wire separation; Defective fan motor; Door switch staying open, preventing fan operation
What actually causes this:
Usually a failed fan motor bearing — the fan stalls, then the MICOM detects no pulse feedback and logs the error
First Thing to Check
Open the freezer and listen for fan noise; if silent during normal operation, the fan motor has likely failed
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check feedback signal between Main PCB CN20 pins 14 and 18 — should show a specific frequency pulse when fan is spinning
- 2
Verify voltage at CN20 #16 and #18 is DC 7–12V (motor running) or DC ~2V (feedback signal)
- 3
Run Forced Operation mode to observe fan behavior
- 4
Check that freezer and fridge door switches are closed (5V = open, 0V = closed)
