What This Means

What actually causes this:
Sensor fell off its mounting hook on the evaporator during a previous service, causing it to read ambient air temperature instead
First Thing to Check
Remove the freezer evaporator cover and confirm the defrost sensor is clipped firmly to the evaporator fins
