What This Means
Sensor housing separated from its mount; Incomplete connector contact at sensor plug; Open-circuited sensor wire; Short-circuit in sensor circuit
What actually causes this:
Usually a disconnected or corroded sensor plug, or a failed thermistor after long use in freezing conditions.
First Thing to Check
Open the freezer evaporator cover and inspect the sensor connector — reseat it firmly.

Inspect sensor housing connector for proper seating
