What actually causes this:
Pitcher overfilled or overflow sensor circuit has a fault.
First Thing to Check
Remove the AutoFill pitcher and check for standing water in the pitcher bay.

0V–4.5V: water overflow detected (actual overflow or sensor fault)

4.5V–5V: no overflow (sensor is normal)

Check sensor connector and wiring at CN60
