What This Means
Locked rotor in compressor; Operating compressor under 1000 RPM for more than 5 seconds; Huge sudden change in input voltage; Compressor or cycle fault
What actually causes this:
Compressor has seized internally or there is a severe voltage fluctuation on the power supply.
First Thing to Check
Check the wall voltage with a multimeter while the refrigerator is running to rule out a supply voltage problem.
