What This Means
Temperature of water supplied through the dry valve during a dry cycle sensed as higher than 70°C; Water temperature sensed as higher than 50°C in Wool or Lingerie courses; Cold and warm water supply hoses connected incorrectly (swapped)
What actually causes this:
The hot and cold water hoses are swapped at the back of the machine, so hot water goes where cold should.
First Thing to Check
Check the back of the washer — make sure the hot water hose goes to the hot inlet (usually marked red) and the cold hose goes to the cold inlet (usually marked blue).
