What actually causes this:
Small items like coins, hair pins, or socks got past the drum and are blocking the drain pump filter.
First Thing to Check
Locate the small access door at the bottom front of the washer, open it, and check the drain pump filter for trapped objects like coins, hair pins, or lint buildup.
