Address soon - your appliance may not work properly

Also displayed as: 1C

What This Means

Water level sensor hose is damaged (punctured); Hose is clogged with foreign material; Hose is folded; Too much lubricant applied to insertion part of air hose; Hose disengaged; Part fault (faulty internal soldering); Water level sensor terminal disengaged; Main PBA fault; PBA connector terminal not connected

What actually causes this:

Most often the small rubber hose connecting the sensor to the tub has slipped off, gotten kinked, or cracked with age.

First Thing to Check

Cancel the cycle, unplug the washer for 60 seconds, then restart. If the code returns, check that the drain hose is not kinked.
