What actually causes this:
Usually the motor itself has failed or a wire connection to the motor has come loose due to vibration over time.

1. Unplug the motor connector and measure resistance between the three terminals on the motor.

2. Expected resistance: 19.3 ohms at 25 degrees C.

5. Check if the motor cover stator is damp or contaminated with foreign substance.
