What actually causes this:

Usually the motor itself has failed or a wire connection to the motor has come loose due to vibration over time.

Try restarting the wash cycle. If it fails again, the motor likely needs professional attention.

How to Fix

    1. Unplug the motor connector and measure resistance between the three terminals on the motor.

    2. Expected resistance: 19.3 ohms at 25 degrees C.

    3. Check the motor connector terminal connections for looseness or corrosion.

    4. Check if the motor coil is broken.

  5. 5

    5. Check if the motor cover stator is damp or contaminated with foreign substance.

  6. 6

    6. If the motor is defective, replace it.

    7. If the PBA control circuit is defective, replace the PBA.
