Craft Ice Maker Unit Error — Craft ice maker step motor fault, Hall IC fault, or Li-wire short; faulty motor driving circuit

How to Fix

Check CON3 connector between Main PCB and craft ice maker unit for loose or disconnected condition.

If connector is loose/disconnected, reconnect or repair the connector.

Measure craft ice maker motor (housing) resistance at CON3 pins 26~28: expected 19.7 ohm. If out of range, replace the craft ice maker unit.

Push the I/M test key and enter I/M test mode. Measure voltage at CON3 pins 23~25: expected 0~5V (changing). If voltage is not changing, replace Main PCB.

If voltage is correct but motor does not operate, replace the craft ice maker unit.

If all checks pass, explain to customer.

Ambient (Room) Temperature Sensor Abnormal — Room temperature sensor short or open
