How to Fix

Check CON4 connector (pins 21~22) between Main PCB and defrost sensor for loose or disconnected condition.

If connector is loose/disconnected, reconnect or repair the connector.

Measure defrost sensor resistance at CON4 pins 21~22: 0 ohm = short (replace sensor), Open/infinity = open (replace sensor).

Compare measured resistance to temperature chart: -5°C=38k, 0°C=30k, 5°C=24k, 10°C=19.5k, 15°C=16k ohms.

If resistance is normal and matches temperature, explain situation to customer.

If defrost sensor is confirmed good but error persists, replace the Main PCB.

UV/Nano LED Module Error — Bad UV LED module or poor connection of display and UV module; caused when feedback signals are abnormal (OPTIONAL feature)
Water Tank Switch Error — Water tank not assembled correctly or water tank switch error (optional feature)
Freezer Sensor Abnormal — Freezer sensor short or open failure
Defrost Heater Abnormal — Defrost heater or thermal fuse short circuit or unplugged connector. Indicated 4 hours after trouble occurs.
Refrigerator Sensor Abnormal — Refrigerator sensor (upper part of refrigerator compartment) short or open failure
Freezer Fan Motor Abnormal — Connection line of the fan motor is faulty, short or open. Display fault when operating fan motor for 65 seconds without feedback.
Ambient (Room) Temperature Sensor Abnormal — Room temperature sensor short or open
Ice Maker Unit (Motor) Abnormal — Ice maker step motor fault, Hall IC fault, or Li-wire short; faulty motor driving circuit. Display shows error if ice maker error occurs within 30 minutes after power on.
