Error Code 2
Refrigerator temperature cannot be measured or controlled
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: 2
What This Means
Loose connector at CN30-6 or CN76-1; Damaged thermistor sensor; PCB solder joint failure; Broken wire in sensor circuit
What actually causes this:
Temperature sensor connection has become loose or sensor has failed
First Thing to Check
Locate the refrigerator compartment temperature sensor and verify the connector is fully seated
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check voltage between Main PCB CN30-6 and CN76-1
- 2
Expected voltage range: 4.5V to 1.0V
- 3
If out of range, check connector connections
- 4
Measure resistance at sensor terminals
