What This Means

What actually causes this:
Most often the small rubber hose connecting the sensor to the tub has cracked, kinked, or come loose, giving the sensor a bad reading.
First Thing to Check
Turn off the washer, unplug it, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in and try again.

1. Check if the water level sensor and its connector are properly connected.

2. Measure sensor frequency: should be approx. 26.4 KHz without water (minimum 25.9 KHz).

3. Check the water level sensor terminal connections (Blue Color Wire to Orange Color Wire).

4. Verify the correct part code for the water level sensor is being used.

5. If the water level sensor is defective, replace it.

6. If no problems found with the sensor, replace the main PBA.
