What This Means

Washing heater is short-circuited or has a wire disconnected; Washing heater in the tub has a contact error or temperature sensor fault; Water level sensor operates without water (frozen) and temperature sensor detects 100-150°C overheating; Heater engagement fault (out of place); PBA relay malfunction (if heater has no error)

What actually causes this:

The heating element burned out or its wiring came loose

How to Fix

    1. TYPE 1: Check resistance between points A and B on the heater — should be 16.05 +/- 0.65 Ohm

  2. 2

    2. Check for wire disconnection between heater and Main PBA

  3. 3

    3. If wash heater is faulty, replace it

  4. 4

    4. If no problem in heater, TYPE 2: check wash-thermistor at back of Tub

  5. 5

    5. If TYPE 1 is OK, change the wash-thermistor [BACK] at the back of the tub

  6. 6

    6. Check PBA relay if heater tests normal
