Error Code d90
FlowSense duct blockage – ductwork is approximately 90% blocked
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: d90
How to Fix
- 1
Do not use the dryer until the exhaust system has been cleaned and/or repaired – severely restricted exhaust is a fire hazard.
- 2
Inspect and clean the lint filter (clean after every load).
- 3
Check all external ductwork for kinks, crushing, or tears. Straighten or replace as needed.
- 4
Inspect the vent hood at the exterior of the home for lint blockage, damage, or obstruction.
- 5
Verify the duct inside the dryer is properly connected to the blower assembly (may have dislodged during delivery/installation).
- 6
Check that no screen is installed on the end of the air duct (screens trap lint).
- 7
Verify duct length and elbow count do not exceed maximums: 0 elbows = 65 ft max (4-inch rigid), 1 elbow = 55 ft, 2 elbows = 47 ft, 3 elbows = 36 ft, 4 elbows = 28 ft.
- 8
Check for foreign material inside the blower assembly; clean if found.
- 9
If no physical blockage is found but error persists → Perform Installation Test (press Power then hold Wrinkle Care + Settings; press START/PAUSE).
- 10
If error still persists after all checks → Default off duct blockage detection by pressing and holding Steam + Energy Saver for 3 seconds ('On'/'Off' displayed); consider replacing main PCB if fault is erroneous.
