How to Fix
- 1
Turn off the dryer and unplug.
- 2
Enter diagnostic mode and press START/PAUSE once to start tumbling without heat.
- 3
With door closed, open door — dryer stops; reach into drum and place fingers across moisture sensor bars while pressing door switch button.
- 4
Observe numerical display: value should be between 30–255 and should decrease as moisture from skin is sensed.
- 5
If values do not change or are abnormal, proceed to mechanical test.
- 6
Disconnect NA6 connector from main PCB. Measure resistance between NA6 GN pin and chassis ground — should be less than 1 Ω.
- 7
If not less than 1 Ω, check all wiring harness connections and ground screws.
- 8
If ground is correct, put a jumper between NA6 OR pin and NA6 BL pin to create a test circuit.
- 9
Measure resistance between the two moisture sensor bars inside the lint filter housing — should be less than 1 Ω.
- 10
If not less than 1 Ω, check all connections and wires between NA6 terminal at main PCB and sensor bars. Resistance of all wires should be less than 1 Ω.
- 11
Check all sensor harness connectors for corrosion, loose/bent pins, and broken wires.
- 12
If wiring and sensor bars are good, replace the main PCB.
