Drainage Error — water is not completely drained within 12 minutes.
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Drain hose not positioned properly; Drain hose is folded, clogged due to freeze or dirt; Defective drain pump; WHITE 6-pin connector to the main board has a bad connection
How to Fix
- 1
Position drain hose end 0.9-1.2 m (36-48 inches) above the floor
- 2
Make sure the drain hose is not plugged with a foreign object
- 3
Enter service mode and press START/PAUSE 9 times (pump check) — confirm pump activates at 120V ± 5%
- 4
Check if the connector to pump motor assembly is disconnected; reconnect or repair if so
- 5
When in service mode, check water level frequency — if below 26.0 kHz, check the air chamber and tube for clogs
- 6
Test drain pump coil resistance (pins 1-2): should be 10-20 ohms. If out of range, replace drain pump assembly
- 7
Check voltage at BL3 pin 3 — pump running: 120V ± 5%; stopped: 0-1V. If voltage out of range, replace main PCB assembly
- 8
Verify drain hose is not frozen, not bent or clogged, not positioned too low, and no foreign objects in pump
