Error Code LE
Motor Error (Locked Rotor) — motor cannot reach or maintain target speed.
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Motor drive connector (YL3) at main PCB disconnected or disassembled; Rotor magnet cracked; Stator winding resistance out of range; Hall sensor failure; Bearings are locked; IPM (Intelligent Power Module) shorted on main PCB
How to Fix
- 1
Check the connector at the hall sensor and at the BLUE 6-pin connector on the main board — reconnect if disconnected
- 2
Check the stator connections at the yellow 3-pin or BLUE 6-pin connector on the main board
- 3
Inspect rotor magnet — if cracked, replace the rotor
- 4
Pull out YL3 connector and measure resistance between motor winding terminals (U-V, V-W, W-V): should be 5-15 ohms; if out of range, replace the stator
- 5
Turn the drum manually to verify bearings are not locked; if locked, replace bearings
- 6
If resistance values are in range, check IPM in the controller for a short; if shorted, replace main PCB assembly
- 7
Replace the hall sensor if necessary
