What This Means
Water supply valve is closed or supply line is restricted; Water pressure is too low; Water inlet valve or flow meter is not working; Drain pump is not working and water pressure switch detects high water level; Foreign substance preventing water inlet valve from closing (for overflow variant)
What actually causes this:
The water supply valve under the sink is turned off, or the inlet filter screen is clogged with debris
First Thing to Check
Make sure the water supply valve under your kitchen sink is fully turned on
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check whether the water supply valve is open
- 2
2. Check whether the supply line is bent or kinked
- 3
3. Check and reconnect the Water Valve connector
- 4
4. Check whether the water pressure is low (must be at least 0.04 MPa / 20 psi)
- 5
5. Check whether the coil in Water Valve is conductive — disconnect connector and measure resistance. Normal: approximately 24 ohm
- 6
6. Check whether the Water Valve is operating normally from the Main PBA — measure voltage between the blue wire of the Main PBA EV1 connector and the blue wire of the ACN connector: 12V while operating
- 7
7. Check wiring for malfunction or damage
- 8
8. Check the pressure switch for malfunction
- 9
9. Check whether the Drain pump coil is conductive — disconnect connector and measure resistance. Normal: approximately 32-34 ohm
- 10
10. Check the operating voltage of Drain pump relay — measure between the red wire of Main PBA PS connector and blue wire of ACN connector: 120V while operating
- 11
11. Check if drain hose is clogged or damaged
