What This Means
Water supply valve is closed or turned off; Water supply pressure is too low; Aqua stop device is malfunctioning; Case brake fails to detect the pulse (flow meter issue); Foreign material blocking water supply line or water valve filter; Water valve coil is not conductive; Main PBA is defective
What actually causes this:
The water supply valve under the sink is turned off, or the small filter screen where the water hose connects is clogged with debris
First Thing to Check
Make sure the water supply valve under your kitchen sink is fully open
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check whether the faucet is open — open it if closed
- 2
2. Check whether the water supply has been cut off — wait for resumption then power cycle
- 3
3. Check for foreign material in the water supply line and water valve filter — clean filter with a brush
- 4
4. Check the connection for the water valve connector — reconnect if loose
- 5
5. Check whether the coil in the water valve is conductive (remove connector before measuring) — Normal: approximately 990 ohms plus or minus 10% (890-1089 ohms)
- 6
6. Check whether the water supply stops after water is supplied for 20 seconds — if faulty, replace the water valve and Assy guide water-sub
- 7
7. Check whether the water supply stops after 60 minutes — check water supply pressure (must be greater than 0.5 bar). If faulty, replace the water valve and Assy guide water-sub
- 8
8. Check whether the water valve is operating normally via Main PBA — check the water valve relay: voltage between the Blue wire (Number 6) of CN401 and the White wire of CN101. Normal: 110-120V while operating
- 9
9. Check the Power Relay — see Power Relay check procedure
