What actually causes this:
During the Smart Install vent test, the dryer found the exhaust vent is too restricted for safe operation.
First Thing to Check
Check the exhaust vent hose behind the dryer — make sure it's not kinked, crushed, or full of lint.

2. Check the moisture sensor (dry sensor) for contamination

3. Clean moisture sensor bars with soft cloth

4. Re-run the Smart Install vent blockage test

5. If error persists, test moisture sensor in Smart Install touch sensor check mode
