Fridge fan motor is not working

Feedback signal wire is defective; Fan motor wire slipped out; Fan motor is defective; Restricted fan blade

What actually causes this:

Fridge fan has ice on it or the motor died

First Thing to Check

Check if ice is blocking the fridge fan blade

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Turn on Forced Operation mode

  2. 2

    Measure voltage between Case Connector DC YEL2 #19 and #20

  3. 3

    Voltage should be between 7V and 12V

  4. 4

    Check for motor feedback pulse

  5. 5

    Inspect for ice or obstructions
