Error Code C FAN ERROR
Compressor is not getting adequate cooling air flow
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: C FAN ERROR
What This Means
Voltage between CN32-12 and CN32-13 not within 7V-12V range; Fan motor mechanical failure or blockage; Bad wiring connection or loose connector; Pulse signal not reaching MICOM from fan rotation; MICOM ground connection problem
What actually causes this:
Condenser fan frozen from water or mechanical bearing failure in motor
First Thing to Check
Inspect compressor cooling fan area for ice or debris accumulation
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Measure voltage between CN32-12 and CN32-13 (should be 7V-12V DC)
- 2
2. Verify pulse signal (CN32-11) alternates between 0V and 2-3V
- 3
3. Inspect compressor cooling fan for ice or debris
- 4
4. Check wiring connection to CN32
- 5
5. Verify MICOM ground connection at J23 jumper and CN76-4 (orange)
- 6
6. Check for soldering issues on PCB near CN32
