Error Code F FAN ERROR
Freezer is not getting cool air circulation
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: F FAN ERROR
What This Means
Voltage between CN31-8 and CN31-9 not within 7V-12V range; Fan motor mechanical failure or blockage; Bad wiring connection or loose connector; Pulse signal not reaching MICOM from fan rotation; MICOM ground connection problem
What actually causes this:
Fan blade frozen or bearing seized from water freezing inside motor
First Thing to Check
Manually check if freezer fan blade spins freely without obstruction
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check if compressor is running
- 2
2. Measure voltage between CN31-8 and CN31-9 (should be 7V-12V DC)
- 3
3. Verify pulse signal (CN31-7) alternates between 0V and 2-3V
- 4
4. Check door switch connection at CN76
- 5
5. Verify MICOM pin #60 receives proper door signal
- 6
6. Inspect fan for ice or debris blocking rotation
