What This Means
Sensor housing separation; Contact error at connector; Sensor wire disconnection; Short circuit in sensor line; Temperature reading above 149°F or below -58°F
What actually causes this:
The sensor wire gets pinched during ice maker removal or becomes loose from vibration
First Thing to Check
Check the sensor wiring near the freezer evaporator and ensure the connector is fully inserted
