What actually causes this:
Ice maker assembly not installed correctly or motor failed

Check if water is reaching the ice maker and if ice bucket is in correct position

2. Inspect ice maker assembly seating in fridge compartment

3. Check ice maker water supply connection

4. Check ice maker motor connector at CN52 pins 1-6

5. Reseat all connectors

6. Plug refrigerator back in and test ice maker operation

7. After ice maker replacement, power cycle refrigerator and verify operation
