Heater wire harness disconnected at Main PCB CN51 pins 4 and 6; Heater element burned out or open circuit; Heater shorted to ground or to other components; Main PCB defective
What actually causes this:
Ice duct heater element burned out

Check if ice dispenser is working — no ice dispensing may indicate heater failure

How to Fix

1. Unplug refrigerator

2. Disconnect Main PCB CN51 wire from PCB
- 3
3. Measure resistance between CN51 pins 4 and 6 — normal 135 ohm ± 7%
- 4
4. If 0 ohm: heater is shorted, replace heater
- 5
5. If infinite: wire is open, replace heater or wire harness
- 6
6. If normal: check heater connections and Main PCB relay
