Error Code C_FAN_ERROR
Condenser (compressor area) cooling fan is not working
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: F LED blinks
What This Means
Condenser fan motor failure; Bad wiring at CN32-12/13; Debris or ice blocking fan blade; Main PCB drive circuit failure; Rotation pulse feedback absent at CN32-11
What actually causes this:
The fan that cools the condenser coil and compressor has failed, which will cause the compressor to overheat and the whole unit to stop cooling.
First Thing to Check
Check behind the lower kick panel for lint, pet hair, or debris blocking the condenser fan blade.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Measure voltage between CN32-12 and CN32-13; should be DC 7~12V during operation
- 2
Check CN32-11 pulse signal; expect ~2~3V with multimeter during rotation
- 3
If voltage present but no rotation, replace condenser fan motor
- 4
If no voltage, check Main PCB
