Error Code FLEX_ZONE_DAMPER_HEATER_ERROR
Flex Zone damper anti-frost heater is not working
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: Both LEDs blink
What This Means
Damper heater open circuit or short circuit; Disconnected connector at MAIN PCB CN75; Wiring harness damage; Main PCB MICOM #91 output failure
What actually causes this:
The heater that prevents the Flex Zone air damper from freezing shut has failed.
First Thing to Check
Check that the wire connector at CN75 on the main board is securely plugged in.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect CN75 from PCB
- 2
Measure resistance between CN75-11 and CN75-12; expected 135 ohm ±7%
- 3
0Ω = heater short; ∞Ω = open heater or open wire
- 4
Measure MICOM IC01 pin 91: should be 3.5V~4.8V at initial power-on and when heater is off; 0V when heater is active
- 5
Reseat CN75 if resistance is normal but heater not working
