Error Code FRIDGE_SENSOR_ERROR
Refrigerator compartment temperature sensor is faulty
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: R LED blinks (Fridge/Refrigerator indicator)
What This Means
Disconnected or poorly seated connector at MAIN PCB CN30 pins 5 and 6; Open or shorted thermistor sensor; Solder defect on PCB at resistor R304; Failed MAIN PCB MICOM IC01 pin 5
What actually causes this:
The thermistor that reads fresh food compartment temperature has failed or its connector came loose.
First Thing to Check
Firmly push in connector CN30 on the main PCB — it may have worked loose.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check MAIN PCB connector CN30 is fully inserted
- 2
Measure voltage between CN30-5 and CN30-6; normal range 4.5V~1.0V
- 3
Measure MICOM IC01 pin 5 voltage; should match CN30-5/6 reading
- 4
Disconnect connector and measure sensor resistance against DATA1 temperature table
- 5
Check solder at R304 on PCB
