Error Code ABNORMAL_CURRENT
Inverter detected excessive or abnormal current from compressor motor
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: Abnormal Current Detection
What This Means
Open circuit in compressor wiring at CN04; Bad soldering of current sensor R1; Compressor mechanical load increase or jam; Inverter sense circuit failure
What actually causes this:
Compressor is drawing too much current due to mechanical jam, wiring problem, or inverter failure
First Thing to Check
Verify CN04 compressor wires are all connected and not damaged
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check CN04 connector for open circuit in U, V, W phases
- 2
Inspect R1 (current sense resistor) for bad solder joints
- 3
Verify compressor can rotate freely
- 4
Check wiring continuity from CN04 to compressor
