Error Code COMP-OVER-VOLTAGE
Supply voltage to compressor is too high
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F and R blink — Over Voltage pattern
What This Means
Excessive input voltage (above AC 155V for 120V models); Shorted DC link divider resistors R309, R310, or R311 on inverter PCB; Power surge
What actually causes this:
The voltage coming into the refrigerator is too high — possibly from a power surge or a wiring problem in the house.
First Thing to Check
Check whether other appliances or lights in the house are experiencing abnormal brightness or behavior that could indicate an over-voltage condition.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check input voltage at wall outlet — should not exceed 127V AC
- 2
Inspect inverter PCB for solder shorts on bottom side around R309, R310, R311
- 3
If wall voltage is normal, replace inverter PCB
