What This Means

Heater open circuit (infinity resistance, nominal ~135 ohms); Heater short circuit (0 ohms); Bad connector contact at CN40 pins 25 and 27; Wiring disconnection or corrosion; MICOM relay failure for damper heater control

What actually causes this:

The damper heater failed or disconnected, allowing condensation to form on refrigerator door edges

Measure the heater resistance between CN40 pins 25 and 27

How to Fix

    Check CN40 connector insertion at pins 25 (Brown) and 27 (Black)

  2. 2

    Measure heater resistance between CN40 pins 25-27: should be ~135 ohms ±7%

  3. 3

    Measure MICOM #91 output voltage on pin 25-27

  4. 4

    Check expected voltage: 3.5V-4.8V when heater active, 0V when off

  5. 5

    Verify damper door operation
