Bad connector contact at CN20 pin 10 and 12; Open circuit or short in sensor; Water damage to sensor or connector; Sensor age-related resistance change; Mechanical damage to sensor

What actually causes this:

Freezer temperature sensor disconnected or failed, preventing proper freezer cooling control

First Thing to Check

Check that connector CN20 is fully inserted and look for water or frost

How to Fix

    Check CN20 connector insertion

  2. 2

    Measure voltage between CN20 pins 10 and 12 (YEL and YEL)

  3. 3

    Measure resistance between same pins

  4. 4

    Compare to temperature table DATA1

  5. 5

    Inspect sensor for physical damage
