What This Means

Connector missing or loose contact; Electric wire cut or damaged; Short circuit in sensor wiring; Sensor itself failure

What actually causes this:

The temperature sensor in the refrigerator section has failed or disconnected, preventing the control board from measuring fridge temperature

First Thing to Check

Check the refrigerator sensor connector at MAIN PCB CN30 for loose connections or visible damage

How to Fix

    Measure voltage between MAIN PCB CN30 #5 and #7

  2. 2

    Voltage should be within 4.5V to 1.0V range

  3. 3

    Check for wire continuity

  4. 4

    Test sensor resistance at 25°C; should be 5.0 k ohms
