What This Means

Sensor connector missing or loose; Electric wire cut or damaged; Short circuit in sensor circuit; Sensor element failure

What actually causes this:

The outdoor temperature sensor has failed or disconnected, preventing the refrigerator from adjusting its operation based on room temperature

First Thing to Check

Check the ambient sensor connector at MAIN PCB CN30 for loose or corroded contacts

How to Fix

    Measure voltage between MAIN PCB CN30 #1 and #2

  2. 2

    Voltage should be within 4.5V to 1.0V range

  3. 3

    Check sensor connector for corrosion

  4. 4

    Verify wire continuity from PCB to sensor
