What This Means

Ice ejector motor failure; Ice level sensor failure; Motor gears stripped or damaged; Repeated ejection attempts failed

What actually causes this:

The ice maker's mechanical ejector has failed multiple times or the level sensor won't detect ice, indicating the entire ice maker assembly needs replacement

First Thing to Check

Press test button on ice maker assembly to hear if motor attempts to run or if motor is completely dead
