What This Means

What actually causes this:
The defrost heating element either failed to shut off or the defrost cycle exceeded 70 minutes, indicating a heater short circuit or control failure
First Thing to Check
Check if evaporator is hot during defrost mode; if too hot for 70+ minutes, heater is stuck on

Separate MAIN PCB CN70 wire from PCB

Read resistance between CN70 Brown and Black
- 3
If 0 Ohm, heater is short circuited

If infinite Ohm, wire or thermal fuse is open

Verify defrost sensor voltage
