What actually causes this:
The lid is not fully closed, or a piece of clothing is caught between the lid and the tub, preventing a proper seal.
First Thing to Check
Open the lid, make sure nothing is caught in it, close it firmly, and try again.

1. Check if the door is opened or closed. Ensure door is closed all the way with no laundry caught.

2. Check for debris in the door lock tray. Clean with a damp, soft cloth.

3. Check Reed SW resistance (White-Green Wire): approx 0.2 ohms between terminals.

4. Since 120V power is connected, check if power is disconnected before servicing the door switch.

5. Check Door Lock Motor resistance (Black-Brown Wire): 33 to 46 ohms between terminals.

6. If the main PBA door detection circuit is defective, replace it.
