What This Means
Disconnected wire to heater; Heater fault; Wash thermistor fault; Washing temperature sensor fault; Dry temperature sensor fault; Freezing conditions in winter; Main PCB fault
What actually causes this:
The heating element or the temperature sensor that monitors water heat has failed, preventing the washer from safely heating water.
First Thing to Check
Unplug the washer, wait one minute, plug it back in, and try again. If the error returns, avoid hot water cycles until repaired.

How to Fix

1. Check for connection between wire and heater.

2. If wash heater is faulty, replace it (refer TYPE 1).

3. If the heater tests normal, replace the wash thermistor (refer TYPE 2).

4. Check the connections for the washing heater temperature sensor connector.

5. If the washing heater temperature sensor has a functional error, replace it.
- 6
6. Check the connections for the dry heater temperature sensor connector.
- 7
7. If the dry heater temperature sensor has a functional error, replace it.

8. ATC1 check error: check the sensor. ATC2 check: sensed temperature is abnormally high.
