Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check motor connector terminal connections and contacts
- 2
2. Check for washing motor fault or overloading due to too much laundry
- 3
3. For DD Motor: Check resistance on main PCB motor between pins 1 and 3, and pins 1 and 4 — Resistance: Approximately 2 to 4 MΩ
- 4
4. Check voltage when power is on
- 5
5. For Universal Motor: Check resistance of wire pin Nos. 4 and 1 on the side of the TACHO SENSOR — Resistance: Approximately 40 to 45 Ω (Normal)
- 6
6. For Hall Sensor: Measure resistance of wire pin Nos. 2 and 3 on the side of the HALL SENSOR — the drum revolution needs to be reproduced (turn drum by hand) — Resistance: Approximately 3 to 12V (voltages may differ depending on speed of revolutions)
- 7
7. If washing motor/hall sensor is faulty, replace it
- 8
8. If Main PCB control circuit is faulty, replace the PBA
